Go Kids - Westport Woods Hotel & Spa

go!kids! is a free kids entertainment club which runs every day during peak holiday periods. This includes, Christmas, Easter, Bank Holiday Weekends and all summer long. go!kids! caters for all ages from 4 up to teens. A dedicated toddler room operates each evening in the summer from 7-9pm giving parents a chance to enjoy a leisurely dinner.

How it operates
go!kids! gives your children a chance to meet other kids and get even more from their holiday at the Westport Woods Hotel & Spa. Parents register their children at reception on arrival. go!kids! runs in the mornings and evenings, leaving the afternoons free for family activities. Morning time could include indoor or outdoor games, arts and crafts and perhaps even a swim. The evening programme of talent shows, dancing, karaoke etc. is for all the family and parents are welcome to join in. go!kids! also includes mealtimes - themed breakfasts and dinners. The day finishes with a movie at 9.30pm in the go!kids! den, just to quieten things down before bedtime.

Go kids subdivisions
The go!kids! club is split into groups, according to kids’ ages. These age divisions vary slightly, depending on the numbers and ages of children staying at the hotel at the time. Fun is always the focus - at the right level for each age group of course. Trained leaders supervise each group.

Leaders
Our competent, trained leaders are called KOs. You’ll see them in their distinctive yellow polo shirts. Everyone is hand picked and full of fun, ideas and action, making sure each child enjoys their time with the go!kids! KOs love entertaining the children and are full of ideas and suggestions for more games, more action and more fun. It’s true - everyone can play!

Mealtimes
Kiddie meals are a big part of the go!kids! club. At twenty past nine every morning the breakfast train starts, chugging from door to door and picking up ‘passengers’ along the way. Don’t miss your stop! Make sure you’re dressed for the occasion too - is it a pyjama breakfast this morning? Or maybe it’s odd socks day.

Dinnertime is fun time too with themes almost every night. Red Nose Night, Black and White or Dress Up Time. All the kids can sit together and have fun, leaving parents to enjoy a relaxing meal. Perfect!

Games
Games are a big part of the morning and early evening activities at go!kids! You’ll recognise some, but others are go!kids! specials. Duck Duck Goose or Wacky Races anyone? They’ll be age appropriate of course, so everyone enjoys themselves.

Evening entertainment
Every evening go!kids! hosts a family event - and parents often join in the fun too. It could be a talent show or a karaoke night. Check this week’s schedule so you don’t get left out.

Outings
Older kids can take part in outings to Westport House, the cinema or perhaps pony riding. The onsite Horizon Adventure Centre is a big attraction too, for those who are old enough of course. Parents will be informed of these outings and activities in advance as a small charge does apply.

On site activities
We’re so lucky here at the Westport Woods Hotel & Spa, we have an outdoor playground and volleyball, Horizon Adventure Centre and of course the lovely swimming pool at our Beech Club Leisure Centre all on site. go!kids! get to enjoy these activities especially when the sun shines.
